The Emulator Control module allows the reading of the part-program of the machine tool, resulting in an exact simulation of the movements of the machine tool environment ICAM Virtual Machine, or inside Catia using Delmia. Control Emulator has powerful preprocessors for popular cnc, which allow you to read without errors even complex parametric programs. Control Emulator is the ideal tool to test programs created or edited directly in ISO code.

Control Emulator Benefits

Efficent Develop of Post-Processors and Control Emulator

CE can be created using Post-Processors previously developped with CAM-POST. In this case, any changes made at a later time at the Post-Processors will be automatically reflected on Control Emulator.

Reduced learning curve for CAM-POST users

CE uses the same macro language of CAM-POST for the implementation of advanced features. All the definitions of the codes and the data are shown in two intuitive tables, so each change of configuration is simple to perform.

Support of the Advanced CNC Programming

CE uses specific libraries for the treatment of advanced CNC programming. Variables, algebraic expressions, conditional and unconditional jumps, repeats and subprograms are correctly interpreted for CNC Fanuc B, Siemens 840D, Hedehain iTNC ISO and Conversational.

Flexibility during the execution phase

Schedule blocks can be written manually or imported from files during the execution of the CE using the console MDI. This feature allows the user to test multiple solutions without having to restart the whole process of simulation.
